Winster in the Peak District National Park

This luxury cottage sits in the heart of Winster, an enchanting village close to the Derbyshire market towns of Bakewell and Matlock. Hidden up in the limestone hills and surrounded by glorious scenery, the village has more than 70 listed buildings, foremost being the Old Market Hall, dating from the 17th century, together with The Old Hall and Dower House.

The area has remained virtually unchanged for more than a century and is the epitome of English country charm. With a network of walking routes right on the doorstep, and a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, it's a prime location to enjoy some of the most beautiful walks in the country.

To welcome you back from your adventures the Miners Standard and the Bowling Green pubs, both with excellent food and delicious ales, are just a stones throw away from Peak Cottage. And for all your provisions the Winster General Store is just at the bottom of the road.
