A simply beautiful 18th century detached stone cottage, lovingly restored in a contemporary style. Nestled within a picture-perfect village setting in the Peak District National Park - sleeps 4

Professionally renovated to exceptional standards, Peak Cottage in the picturesque village of Winster combines antiquity with 21st century living. Set on four different levels, originally 2 miners cottages, they were joined together in the 19th century and provide ideal accommodation for two couples or a family group.

A brand new central heating system heats the whole cottage and in the main living areas there are, not one, but two wood burning stoves. Two flat screen TV’s and wi-fi to keep you connected.

Outside, from the seating area, there are beautiful views of Winster village and the rolling hills of the Peak District offering an array of walks starting, right there, on your doorstep. A few minutes drive finds Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Bakewell, Matlock, Matlock Bath and Carsington Water.

We also have Ranters Cottage in North Norfolk. Click here to take a look.

An absolutely lovely cottage in a darling, welcoming village. The cottage owners have thought of everything you could need for a perfect stay, even toiletries in both bathrooms. We enjoyed the quirky ...
