It will open on the Old Market Hall, dating from the 17th century. It was the first property to be acquired by the National Trust in the Peak District in 1906. A lovely, brick built, listed building and is now an information room. Admission is free.

Sweeping round to the left, you'll see the General Stores on the Main Street. It's a newsagents, off-license and post office. They take credit and debit cards, with cashback.

Sweeping further round, you'll find East Bank with the Bowling Green pub on the left, (you can just make out the pub sign). Peak Cottage is just round the corner at the top.
